Biopsies

Dr. Ladd is well versed is all forms of skin biopsies. If needed, Dr. Ladd will explain to you why the skin biopsy is advised and the particular procedure involved. After the procedure, your biopsy will be sent to a pathology laboratory for testing. When complete, Dr. Ladd will arrange to tell you the result of the biopsy. It usually takes about a week to obtain the result from the lab, but can sometimes take longer if special stains are required.
