Eliminate Spider Veins on Your Legs

If you're embarrassed by unsightly spider veins and painful varicose veins, sclerotherapy is a safe and effective way of eliminating them and giving your legs an even and youthful appearance. But sclerotherapy is more than just a cosmetic treatment. Because sclerotherapy eliminates veins that function improperly, blood flow is shifted to other healthy veins nearby, thus improving the circulation of your legs.

In addition, sclerotherapy may eliminate the need for an invasive surgical procedure. During the treatment a solution of saline (salt water) or sotradechol (detergent sclerosant) will be injected directly into the veins with a tiny needle. The solution causes the vein to blanch (turn white), and then gradually disappear. During each session, Dr. Ladd will treat the areas on each leg that concern you the most. You will most likely require a few treatments to treat all existing veins.

The entire treatment takes no longer than 15 minutes unless you request additional treatment. After the treatment you can walk out with no discomfort. Veins that are difficult to treat with sclerotherapy can also be effectively treated with the Aurora-SR®.
