About Dr. Ladd

Dr. Daniel J. Ladd Jr., D.O. earned his BA at the University of Texas at Austin and received his medical degree from Des Moines University in 1999. He then completed a traditional rotating internship at Tri-City Hospital in Dallas, Texas in 2000.

In 2004 he completed his Dermatology residency training at the Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville, Missouri in conjunction with the Dermatology Institute of North Texas. In addition to general dermatology and dermatopathology, Dr. Ladd received specialized training in advanced aesthetic surgery and cosmetic dermatology.

Patients appreciate Dr. Ladd's comprehensive approach to the treatment of acne, rosacea and melasma as well as his minimally invasive surgical treatment of many common skin cancers. His gentle approach to skin rejuvenation is perfect for patients who are looking for a way to look 5-10 years younger but don't want to spend an entire month recovering from an invasive surgical procedure. Most patients prefer to experience a "mini-facelift" effect through a combination of Botox, Restylane, Obagi, chemical peels and microdermabrasion to produce great results with a minimum of downtime. Every patient's goals are addressed with a customized plan to meet their individual needs.

As a leader in the field of dermatology, Dr. Ladd has been active in dermatologic research and has published in peer reviewed journals such as the Archives of Dermatology and the Journal of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. He is a member in good standing of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Osteopathic College of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons and the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology & Aesthetic Surgery. Dr. Ladd is married with two children.
